By volunteering with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and effective environment for all volunteers and the families we support.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

 As a volunteer, you agree to:

• Perform your duties to the best of your ability and in accordance with the training provided.

• Respect the confidentiality of all information related to missing persons and their families.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during search operations and other activities.

• Treat all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or circumstances.

• Communicate promptly with Dear Casi staff regarding any issues or concerns.

Confidentiality: 

Volunteers must maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information related to missing persons cases. This includes, but is not limited to, personal details, case information, and any other data shared during the course of your volunteer activities. Breach of confidentiality may result in termination of your volunteer role.

Code of Conduct:

Volunteers are expected to:

• Act with integrity and honesty in all interactions.

• Avoid any behavior that could be perceived as discriminatory, harassing, or inappropriate.

• Refrain from making any public statements on behalf of Dear Casi without prior authorization.

• Report any concerns or incidents to Dear Casi staff immediately.

Safety and Health:

Your safety and health are our priority. Volunteers must:

• Follow all safety instructions and protocols provided during training and activities.

• Use any equipment provided responsibly and as instructed.

• Report any injuries or health concerns to Dear Casi staff immediately.

• Avoid participating in activities if you are unwell or unable to perform your duties safely.

Training and Development:

Dear Casi will provide necessary training and resources to ensure you are well-prepared for your volunteer role. Volunteers are expected to attend all required training sessions and utilize the resources provided.

Termination of Volunteer Role:

Dear Casi reserves the right to terminate your volunteer role at any time if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions, or if your behavior is deemed detrimental to the mission and values of Dear Casi.

Liability:

Dear Casi is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during your volunteer activities. Volunteers participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and safety.

Amendments:

Dear Casi reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Volunteers will be notified of any changes and are expected to comply with the updated terms.

Acceptance: 

By signing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
